All Christians agreeing to be supportive and encouraging will be added. (Note: We do not allow put downs. All put-downs,hateful comments will be removed.)

We are a Christian group located in the Kansas City Missouri area. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life. This group is intended to be made up of wonderfully supportive and encouraging Christian parents who have chosen to educate their children at home or who are considering it.
What do we offer?
We offer a place where homeschooling parents or parents considering homeschooling can connect and get to know one another and get information about homeschooling. Occasionally there may be optional park days, fun/educational field trips and/or parties. Anyone may post field trip ideas at any time. We almost always have at least one Mom’s Night Out every month.
Do you charge for your parties and activities? No. You will, however, be expected to contribute to the party in some way shape or form. Ie: bring a snack or craft supplies, help with clean-up, etc.
Where can you find help with curriculum?
If you have a question about curriculum, feel free to post it on the group wall. You can also chat with the group on the “chat” option. We have a list of curriculum abbreviations in the document section along with lists of great websites to use including several free ones.
What else do we offer?
In our Documents section at the top right of the screen we have a member directory you may add your name and info. to if you would like. There is also a teacher discounts lists, homeschool enrichment programs, lessons, wanting to sell/buy, co-ops, websites for free worksheets and more! Please check it out often because it is always getting updated with new information. We encourage you to add to these documents as well, as that is how our information is acquired, from each other. If you would like to create a new document, please be courteous and just run the new document idea by me .
What do we expect from you?
We only ask that everyone exercises patience, understanding and grace. We may not all agree on the details of how we parent, how we homeschool and our religious beliefs, however, we all have these 3 things in common. We ask that there be no drama or putting others down. The purpose of this group is to provide support and be uplifting. Any drama/put downs will be removed from the page and/or group.
Where do we get our information from?
YOU! We want you to share your ideas, thoughts, information on homeschooling. You may add to any documents on this site besides this one. It is very important to keep one thing in mind. As a member of another homeschooling group myself, I personally respect everything that is posted on that group’s website and forum to be only for those members. I ask that you give other paid-for groups the same common courtesy. Anything copied from another paid-for site will be removed.
